Only the Best Butter Cookies Recipes
Big Grandma's Best Peanut Butter Cookies
This is my husband's grandmother's recipe that is cherished by the family. They are the best cookie that melts in your mouth. They don't have the normal peanut butter fork crossing...but more of a crackled sugar type cookie... My husband comes from a huge family - and these are one of the cherished recipes!!
flour, baking soda, brown sugar, butter, candy bars, peanut butter, egg whites, vanilla extract, salt, sugar
This is my favorite cookie recipe! If you like peanut butter, you have to try it!!! I found the recipe in a Taste of Home Magazine, which always has wonderful recipes in them!
Coconut Oatmeal Cookies
baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, butter, eggs, flaked coconut, flour, raisins, rolled oat, shortening, vanilla extract, sugar
My grand-daughter sent me this recipe she says they are delicious. These cookies work very well using Splenda or Splenda for Baking,in place of the white sugar. (note, I have been trying different ways to cut down on sugar, using 2 tablespoons molasses in stead of the brown sugar works good and using the splenda for baking, I have also used all butter instead of shortening & butter with good results)
Cranberry Swirl Cheesecake with Cranberry-Raspberry Compote
butter cookies, cinnamon, cinnamon, cranberries, eggs, nonstick cooking spray, nutmeg, orange juice, orange zest, cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, sugar, sugar, vanilla extract, vanilla extract, heavy cream
Bright ribbons of cranberry puree swirled through a creamy white cheesecake create a pretty contrast. Begin the cake a day ahead.
Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III
baking powder, baking soda, butter, butter, powdered sugar, eggs, flour, heavy cream, brown sugar, peanut butter, oats, salt, peanut butter, vanilla extract, sugar
"These are so close to the Girl Scout oatmeal peanut butter cookies that you won't know the difference!"
Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies
"My best friend's mom made these when we were kids. They are the best cookies I have ever eaten, and I have yet to screw up a batch! Warning: you may be tempted to eat the entire recipe!!"
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
I love these rich, very sweet, addictive cookies. I adapted this recipe from one I found and loved on allrecipes.com. I have altered it somewhat to suit my tastes and my preferred baking techniques but this is based on the recipe known there as Aunt Cora's World's Best Cookies. Cook time is per batch, cooking one sheet at a time.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies
flour, baking soda, semisweet chocolate, peanut butter, brown sugar, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla extract
These are impossible to stop eating.
Peanut Butter Cookies with Chocolate Chunks
baking soda, brown sugar, peanut butter, eggs, honey, rolled oat, salt, flour, butter, vanilla extract
"The addition of honey, oats and chocolate chunks in this recipe makes a terrific interpretation of the All-American Peanut Butter Cookie!"
Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
baking soda, brown sugar, butter, eggs, flour, milk, peanut butter, peanut butter, salt, vanilla extract, sugar
"These cookies have a sweet peanut butter cup center."
Peanut Butter Cup Cookies (Tarts)
baking soda, brown sugar, butter, eggs, flour, peanut butter, peanut butter, salt, sugar, vanilla extract
I first saw these at a bake sale and was so impressed. You bake a ball of dough in a mini-muffin tin, bake, and press a Reese's peanut butter cup into it after you take it out of oven. You are left with a picture-perfect tart, receiving "oohs and aahs" and "how did you do it?" You could even use the refrigerated sugar/peanut butter cookie dough too.
The Last Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe You'll Ever Try
baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, butter, peanut butter, eggs, flour, nuts, peanut butter chip, salt, sugar
These are the most amazing cookies. They are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and freeze sooo well. You can't even tell they were frozen! The best part - they are drop cookies, no shaping necessary. If you love nuts, use crunchy peanut butter and add the nuts, if not, use creamy PB and 2 cups of peanut butter chips. Cook time is for one batch. Dough keeps well in fridge so you can bake a batch every day and have fresh cookies!
The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies
"This cookie got its name because a whole 18-ounce jar of peanut butter is used to make it. It is the creamiest, moistest cookie I have ever had, and bound to be a favorite with anyone who makes them. Just don't over bake them!"
World's Best Butter Cookies
I tested 8 different butter cookie recipes, looking for the "perfect" butter cookie. It had to be buttery, a little crumbly (like shortbread), and not too sweet. This is the winner. I think these are the Worlds Best Butter Cookie, courtesy of Chef Alice Medrich.
